ABOUT US >

The John Chumba Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Kenya committed to helping socially and economically disadvantaged people build better lives. We work with communities to expand opportunity, improve well-being, and protect the environment for future generations.

Our mission is to empower communities through education, economic opportunity, environmental protection, and access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. These priorities are connected: a child learns better in a healthy school, a family thrives when it can earn a sustainable income, and a community grows stronger when it cares for its natural resources.

We believe meaningful change begins by listening to communities and working alongside them. Through practical initiatives and partnerships, we strive to elevate people, empower communities, and create lasting change.
